In considering the 25th Anniversary Celebration I have taken time to reflect Noguchi Medical Research Institute (NMRI).
I still remember our first meeting in Philadelphia 25 years ago and the beginning of our relationship with Mr. Yoshihisa Asano, Dr. Kageyasu W. Amano and then later Dr. Akitsugu Ojima. Much has happened since then.
Many relationships have been made because of you with a number of institutions in Japan and the United States. The NMRI has given opportunities to countless young physicians and medical students to visit Jefferson Medical College and other institutions in the United States to understand how medical education works and to help us understand the professional development of students in Japan.
Now it is time not only to reflect on the past and plan for the future but also to celebrate.
Again, many thanks for all you have done. Congratulations, good health, and continued success.
